Storytelling Show
I perform a 30-minute storytelling show that I tour around schools and festivals — or up to 45 minutes when we include an optional draw-along session. The show features a rotating selection of fun, engaging stories tailored to suit different age groups.
Each tale is brought to life with my own large-format illustrations, puppets, props, and plenty of audience participation. It’s a fully immersive experience designed to capture children’s imaginations — no screens needed!
"Phil's show is perfect for promoting a love of reading, inspiring young authors and illustrators, and sparking creativity in every child who watches."
Mrs Dunn, Hill Top Primary Academy
Draw-Alongs
I offer bespoke draw-along workshops... indoors, outdoors, whatever the theme, just let me know!
Eco Story Show
My Eco Story Show blends poems and stories designed to help children understand the environment, climate change, and the importance of "doing our bit" to care for the planet.
Featuring my signature large-scale illustrations, playful rhymes, uplifting stories, and lots of audience participation, this show is perfect for inspiring young eco-heroes and sparking meaningful conversations about the world around us.
Maths Through Stories workshops
Storytelling is a great way to help children understand mathematical concepts, consolidate existing knowledge and further inspire a love of the subject. In my 'Maths Through Stories' workshops, children will hear some of my fun maths stories, then work together to create their own - storyboarding, illustrating and recording their voices to create their own YouTube video.
“This meaningful project has really shown how powerful storytelling can deepen children’s understanding of maths… it has had a hugely positive impact on our class.”

Bespoke workshops
Whether it's leading children in describing fantasy worlds, creating fun and original superheroes, or writing heartfelt poetry for VE Day, I can adapt to anything... so please get in touch let let me know what you're looking for!
YouTube in a Day
This is a truly collaborative way of storytelling. After sharing some tailored books and stories with the group, children work together to create their own tale based on what they've heard. We then work together to illustrate, script and record (audio only) the children's creation - which is all uploaded to YouTube by the end of the day for everyone to share with their family and friends.
This workshop is highly adaptable to whatever you're reading or studying.
